Amy Friese, BA, CPT

Amy Friese turned her passionate hobby of health and fitness into a career. For several years after graduating from the University of Wisconsin LaCrosse with a bachelors degree in Psychology, she worked at prestigious investment and non-profit organizations. It wasn’t until January of 2008, that she truly realized her dream of helping others discover their own “inner athlete”. In doing so, Amy created Fitness for EveryBODY, LLC, offering exceptional personal training, yoga, fitness boot camps and nutritional counseling dedicated to improving the fitness level and overall life satisfaction of its clients.

Amy has numerous certifications, including: American Council on Exercise (ACE) Certified Personal Trainer, YogaFit Certified Yoga Instructor, and CPR/AED. In addition to running her business, Amy enjoys reading fitness magazines, watching science fiction movies with her husband, caring for their five parrots and traveling the world.

“Being healthy is so much more than simply finding time to lift weights, do cardio and eat nutritiously. It is a unique opportunity to transform yourself inside and out – and along the way – discover just how far you can succeed in other aspects of your life. I am very excited to be your Coach and guide you through this life-changing transformation.”

Juliette Lowe, BS, RN

Juliette has been pursuing her healthy lifestyle through fitness from a very young age.  Starting with gymnastics at the YMCA, she was active through high school as a varsity cheerleader and by being the peer elected captain of the girls’ basketball team.  As a Registered Nurse, Juliette continues to make exercise and nutrition a priority in her life and prides herself in being a resource for others.

At age 21, Juliette enlisted in the United States Navy.  In Boot Camp she was elected by her drill instructors as head recruit and led her boot camp company through the demanding 12-week program. Juliette was awarded honor recruit by the Commanding Officer of the base. In Great Lakes, IL, she was nominated as class leader during her technical training and was given her choice of duty stations. She chose to go to Guam on the USS Niagara Falls where she quickly became Petty Officer 3rd class Lowe. Juliette was the first woman in history, stationed on the Niagara Falls, to qualify and stand as Boiler Technician of the watch.  After 2 years, she was transferred to Norfolk, Virginia to serve onboard the USS Monongahela.   It was on this ship that Juliette became the first E-4, man or women, to earn her Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist designation.  She completed her four years of exemplary service and was honorably discharged from the Navy after traveling around the world serving her country.

As a civilian, Juliette earned her Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice at College of Southern Maryland the University of Maryland, University College where she was invited to and joined Phi Theta Kappa honor society.  Her intentions were to pursue a career in federal law enforcement, but after a personal family tragedy, she was guided toward health care in an attempt to help others live a happy, healthy life. Juliette attended the College of Southern Maryland where she became a Registered Nurse in 2007.

Juliette’s interest in nutrition was peaked while caring for her patients at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C.  On the pulmonary floor, she was entrusted to help teach Cystic Fibrosis, Type I diabetes and other life altering disease patients (and their families) proper diet for their specific needs.  It was on this unit, that Juliette’s views on the importance of fitness and nutrition were reaffirmed.  It was also the catalyst that moved her towards being a role model in fitness and nutrition, for her patients to witness.

Juliette is certified in basic CPR and first aid.  She also holds certificates for Advanced CPR and first aid for health care professionals and a Pediatric Advanced Life Support certificate.  She is currently pursuing her Personal Training certification through ACE (American Council on Exercise) and is looking forward to becoming a certified Lifestyle and Weight Management Consultant.

Juliette became involved with Milwaukee Adventure Boot Camp after hearing and reading our philosophy. She was particularly interested in how MABC promotes healthy lifestyle changes and empowers women through improved cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength and flexibility along with focusing on a balanced diet. She knew this was where she needed to be to help support as many people as she could!

“Having the opportunity to work with a company like Milwaukee Adventure Boot Camp, whose sole purpose is to support women who are ready to make a positive change for themselves and their families, is truly a privilege.”
