What is Milwaukee Adventure Boot Camp for Women?

A three or four-week indoor and outdoor (depending on the season) program of fitness instruction, nutritional counseling and motivational training. You will be inspired and have fun while participating in a fantastic workout led by Certified Adventure Boot Camp Coach and Director, Catherine Andersen. Each day, camp will be one hour in length.  Start times vary at each location. 

What if I'm not very physically fit?

NOBODY will be left behind or asked to complete more than they are capable of doing safely. Nor will anybody go home unchallenged! Women of all ages and abilities are welcome to participate. Each day will slightly increase in intensity. You will inspire and be inspired by others.

Where is the location we will meet?

The Milwaukee Adventure Boot Camp has several locations for your convenience. During the spring, summer, and fall, camps are held at the following local outdoor parks; Bradford Beach (Milwaukee), Klode Park (Whitefish Bay), and Wirth Park (Brookfield). As winter sets in, we DO NOT STOP BOOT CAMP, we just move to large, local indoor facilities that accommodate our vigorous and varied boot camp activities. What types of exercises are included in the program? 

Exercises include: Core conditioning, short distance running (less than one mile), muscular strength, jumping rope, circuit training, hiking, sport yoga, fitness kick boxing, pilates, sport drills, obstacle courses, surprises, and more!

How often will we meet?

Participants will meet  Monday through Friday for one hour (3, 4 or 5 day options are available). All participants will be expected to arrive on time.

What do I need to bring?

You will need to bring an exercise mat, small hand weights (around 8 lbs.), water bottle, running shoes, and a sense of adventure. You can purchase hand weights at any (Dunhams, Sports Mart, Target or Wal-Mart).

What can I achieve from camp?

Your body will become more fit and toned, and you will gain more confidence by making a dramatic improvement in your physical well-being. The camp program includes exercises designed to firm your butt and thighs, flatten your stomach, reduce body fat and increase stamina. By losing fat and gaining muscle, you'll lose inches and gain strength while looking and feeling better. Also, you'll meet great people who share in the same vision of striving to reach their goals for a healthier mind and body. You'll receive a FREE quarterly nutrition seminar. What is the cost (investment in myself)?

Each 5 day a week, four-week boot camp has a registration fee of $299.00. That's twenty hours of instruction! It averages out to just $14.95 per hour. Where else can you get premiere or cutting edge fitness instruction for that incredible price? Personal trainers can typically charge $60 to $150 per hour for their services - this is a great opportunity to receive motivating fitness instruction by a certified personal trainer for just a fraction of the cost.

*The Adventure Boot Camp Program is designed to be done 5 days per week. However, there is a 3 and a 4 day a week option. The 5 day program (4 week camp) includes 20 sessions and is the best way to jump start your fitness and see dramatic improvements. The 3 and 4 day per week programs are also beneficial and are especially good for those who are real beginners, are working with injuries, or who want to compliment boot camp with other activities. 

The 3 day a week program is $259 and the 4 day is $279 - you can choose whichever days work best with your schedule.
